Grounded in faith and guided by the Holy Spirit, we are sent as faithful ambassadors
to reflect the hope of salvation through Jesus Christ.

Rev. Dr. Ted Martin announced his retirement.
On Wednesday Evening May 28 at the Session meeting, Pastor Ted read a letter to the elders announcing his retirement effective October 26, 2025 from Hampton United Presbyterian Church as their Senior Pastor.
"It has been a glorious snapshot of 18 years with the dear saints of this congregation in the long arc of God’s kingdom vision of redemption and hope. In its 225 year history of reflecting God’s love, I am just one of a few dozen who have had the privilege of pastoring this church toward a deeper encounter with our savior Jesus Christ.
Over these 18 years, we have witnessed the mighty hand of the Lord at work, and I am gobsmacked by it all. Infants baptized, youth confirmed, adults stretched and missions embraced. The word of the Lord has gone out from the pulpit, and the faithful disciples have responded as ambassadors to reflect God’s love to the world. The impact continues into the future; I am eager to see what God will do through this church and through me in the years ahead as we bid adieu in October."
Cheerio and let us rejoice in Jesus’ ongoing call to “Follow me”!
